5 kids hurt in mishap

Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, Jul 6 (UNI) Five children were injured when the school van in which they were travelling hit a milk van at Kaluvagunta Village on the Chittoor-Penumoor Road in the district today.

The van carrying 15 children was proceeding to school when the mishap occurred. Two children suffered serious head injuries and were admitted to the SVIMS Hospital at Tirupati, police said.

Van driver Selvadas venkateswarlu, who was also injured in the accident, was arrested and case registered against him.
