Ukrainian bus catches fire - eight dead

KIEV, July 5 (Reuters) A local bus burst into flames in western Ukraine before dawn today, killing eight passengers and leaving two with serious burns, the Emergencies Ministry said.

The Ministry said the bus, travelling on the main road to the Hungarian and Slovak border, caught fire just after 4 a.m.. News reports said the bus had broken down when the fire broke out.

It was not immediately clear what caused the fire.
