Two drown in Chhattisgarh

Jagdalpur, July 5 (UNI) Two persons drowned in the Markde river at Bastar district's Kesarpal village even as downpours continued to lash Chhattisgarh for the third consecutive day.

Ten villages in Loundi Guda block were submerged by the Indravati river, which is in spate. Fifteen temporary relief camps were set up.

Meanwhile, the Raipur-Jagdalpur road has been rendered operational again.
