TN Farmers Assn thanks CM

Vellore, Tamil Nadu, Jul 5 (UNI) The Tamil Nadu Farmers Association held a rally and a public meeting to thank State Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for writing off loans taken by farmers from cooperative institutions.

In her address, Association State President M R Sivakami praised Mr Karunanidhi for writing off the loans and said he helped fulfil the 36-year-old demand of the farmers.
