Three BSF pickets attacked, Jawan among three injured in Kashmir
Baramulla, July 5 (UNI) Militants attacked three Border Security Force (BSF) pickets in north Kashmir causing injuries to three persons, including a jawan and a woman, official sources said.
They said militants fired a rifle grenade towards 55 battalion BSF camp near Jamia Mosque at Sopore at 1630 hrs.
However, it missed the intended target and exploded at a distance causing injuries to an elderly woman Jigri and Ali Mohammad. The injured were hospitalised.
Militants hurled a hand grenade towards BSF picket at main town causing injuries to a jawan at Sopore main town.
Militants also hurled a hand grenade towards another BSF picket at Hatishah Sopore. However, it missed the intended target and exploded without causing any damage.
