Tension prevails in Pudhipatla village following clash

Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh, Jul 5 (UNI) Tension prevailed in Pudhipatla village here today following a clash between the activists of TDP and the Congress.

Police said of the ten activists injured from both the parties, four were admitted to the SVRR Goverment Hospital in Tirupatti.

About 70 workers were arrested in connection with the clash.

Police pickets were posted and Prohibitoy Orders under section 144 clamped in the village. The situation was under control.

Meanwhile, police found a body of a TDP worker from a well. The body was sent for post-mortem, police said.
