South Korea confirms 7th missile launch by North

SEOUL, July 5 (Reuters) South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff confirmed North Korea had launched a seventh missile today.

A spokesman for the group said the missile was fired at 5:22 p.m. local time (1352 hrs IST) and landed in waters to the east of the Korean peninsula. The military officials did not know what type of missile had been launched.
