Railway introduces weekly Mumbai-Howrah superfast express

Mumbai, July 5 (UNI) The Ministry of Railway has introduced CST Mumbai-Howrah-CST Mumbai, a new Superfast weekly express train from July seven, according to a Central Railway release issued here today.

Train no 2889 CST Mumbai-Howrah superfast weekly Express train will leave CST at 1105 hrs on every Sunday with effect from July Nine and reach Howrah at 2200 hrs next day.

Train no 2870 Howrah-CST Mumbai Superfast weekly express will leave Howrah at 1415 hrs on every Friday with effect from July seven and arrive at Chatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai, at 2345 hrs on the next day.

The train will halt at Dadar, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik, Bhusawal, Akola, Badnera, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Jharsuguda, Rourkhela, Chakradnarpur, Tatanagar and Kharangar stations.

Meanwhile, Central Railway will run one special train for Madurai from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) to clear the extra rush of passengers.

The train will leave LTT at 0016 hrs on July eight and will reach Madurai on next day at 1115 hrs, the release added.
