Protest rally against release of 'The Da Vinci Code'

Hyderabad, Jul 5 (UNI) Activists belonging to All India Christian Joint Action Committee today took out a rally from Golconda Cross Road to Indira Park today in protest against the release of the controversial film 'The Da Vinci Code' on July seven in the state.

The rally was led by Committee National President A P Dass and Committee National President (Women's Wing) Radha Mathews.

They raised slogans against the release of the film. They also demanded that the government to expediate legal moves to prevent film its release.

The committee stated they would stop the screening of the controversial film if the theatres went ahead with the release.

They also expressed the view that courts should also take into consideration the feelings of the Christians.
