Play resumes after rain stoppage
LONDON, July 5 (Reuters) Play resumed in the men's quarter-finals at Wimbledon at 1925 ist today following a break of more than one hour due to rain.
Top seed Roger Federer was level at 2-2 with Croatia's Mario Ancic on Centre Court while Swede Jonas Bjorkman was 2-0 up against Czech Radek Stepanek on court one when light rain halted play.
It was the first rain stoppage since the first Monday when less than an hour of play was possible.
The weather forecast was for thunderstorms and showers throughout the afternoon.
