New governor 'puzzle' continues in Mizoram
Aizawl, July 5 (UNI) Mizoram Governor A R Kohli, has completed his tenure of five years on May 18, but is yet to be replaced with a new governor in the state.
Sources here said no one is willing to be posted at Mizoram.
Several potential candidates, including AICC general secretary Margaret Alva, have declined to be the state's governor.
Sources added that Mr Kohli could remain as governor till as late as August.
However, the sources said Congress high command at the Centre is opting for Lalthanhawla, the Mizoram state Congress president, to replace Mr Kohli.
