Minister's bodyguard shot dead

Patna, Jul 5 (UNI) Unidentified assailants tonight shot dead a bodyguard of Information and Public Relations minister Arjun Rai near GPO under Kotwali police station here.

Inspector General of Police, Patna zone, Rajyabardhan Sharma told UNI that the slain bodyguard was identified as Kameswar Prasad Singh and the motive of the murder was under investigation.

The bodyguard was not on duty when the assailants killed him.

The victim was rushed to Patna Medical College and Hospital immediately after he was shot at where he was declared dead.
