MCD extends date to deposit property tax, offices to open Sat, Sun

New Delhi, July 5 (UNI) In a step aimed at adding to the convenience of its customers, the Municipal corporation of Delhi today extended to July 20 the date for depositing property tax.

An announcement to this effect was made by MCD Standing committee, Chairman Jai Kishen Sharma at a meeting.

Mr Sharma said all those who had not yet deposited their property tax till now could do so till July 20 with ten per cent rebate. For the convenience of its customers, the Property Tax offices will remain open on Saturdays and Sundays, Mr Sharma said.
