LJP demands job reservation in pvt sector for OBCs
New Delhi, July 5: The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) has urged the Government to take measures for job reservation in the private sector for the Scheduled castes, Scheduled Tribes, other Backward classes and for the higher caste economically weaker section people.
Addressing the inaugural session of the Yuva LJP's national executive committee here today, party president Ram Vilas Paswan said it is now a must for the Government to reserve jobs in the private sector as the job opportunities with the Government is continuously on the decline.
While, appreciating the UPA Government's decision of ensuring 100 days jobs for the rural youth, Mr Paswan said it is too little since the scheme will cater to only 200 districts in the country.
He said his party will relentlessly work for the inclusion of right to work under fundamental rights.
