Israel eyes "security zone" in north Gaza - radio
JERUSALEM, July 5 (Reuters) Israeli forces are expected to set up a ''security zone'' in the northern Gaza Strip to prevent cross-border rocket attacks, Israel Radio reported today after Prime Minister Ehud Olmert convened his security cabinet.
Israel quit Gaza last year after 38 years of occupation, only to send troops and tanks back in last week after a soldier was abducted by Palestinian gunmen.
