IRPPL plans entertainment hub in NOIDA

Mumbai, July 5 (UNI) International Recreation Parks Pvt Ltd (IRPPL) has raised Rs 750 million of equity from IDFC Private Equity's India Development Fund. Promoted by Unitech Group and International Amusement Ltd (the promoters of Appu Ghar).

The IRPPL is currently setting up urban development projects in the country.

The IDFC Private Equity Company Ltd, in a press release here today, said Sector 18 of NOIDA would be developed as country's largest entertainment hub with a world class amusement park in partnership with Cartoon Network.

Spread over 147 acres of land in NOIDA and 62 acres in Rohini, the project will consist of two amusement parks, four hotels and the country's largest shopping mall. The total investment of over Rs 15,000 million will be funded through a mix of debt, equity and internal accruals.
