IOC petrol station sealed in Kashmir

Srinagar, July 5 (UNI) The authorities here sealed an Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) petrol station for selling diesel not confirming to specifications, an official spokesman said today.

A joint team of officials of the Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) department, the Jammu and Kashmir police and the crime branch sealed the IOC filling station at Narbal on the city outskirts after the sample of the High Speed Diesel (HSD) was not found as per specifications, he added.

The spokesman said the officials along with a mobile testing lab tested the HSD sample.

The sample failed in the density test, he added.

The filling station was sealed on the spot by the officials.
