Heroin worth Rs 5 crore siezed

Kota, July 5 (UNI) Around 5 kg heroin worth Rs 5 crore was seized in Bhawanimandi in Jhalawar district and two people were arrested in the case.

District police superintendent H J Raghavendra said the police had information that a youth named Navin would be going to Indore (Madhya Pradesh) via Sunel on his motorcycle carrying the drug consignment yesterday.

The police sealed the area near the government college on Sunel marg. Two youths diverted their motorcycle on seeing the police towards Dangpura village.

The police followed them and seized heroin which they had concealed in a cement consignment.

The two youths arrested are Navin 20 and Rajnish Padota, 23.
