Patna, July 5 (UNI) The BJP today highlighted the achievements of Nitish Kumar-led NDA government in Bihar, saying the state's face would change after monsoons.

BJP National Secretary Syed Shahnawaz Hussain told newspersons here that all issues on which the NDA had contested the polls and come to power were being implemented.

''The result of the developmental work will be visible after the rainy season,'' he said.

The youth were getting employment and teachers being appointed, he said adding that lured with the positive changes in the state's people who had migrated to the Gulf were returning home with great hopes from the present government. He said it was for the first time that about 300 diploma holders got jobs during campus selection.

Taking a dig at the Left parties, he said they were continuing to extend support to the Congress-led UPA at the Centre even after prices were soaring.

''The double standard of the Left has been exposed. The Congress too is trying to shed its skin on the issue of common concern by putting the Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar in the dock,'' he said.

Mr Hussain said the BJP-JD(U) would jointly hold block level dharnas on the issue of price rise from July 25 to 31.

The leader, however, did not comment on yesterdays incident in which BJP MLA Avnish Kumar Singh, accompanied by RJD MLA Bablu Deo, had misbehaved with the Transport Commissioner. He said the law would take its own course and the party was investigating the matter.
