Dr Kalam's nephew passes away
Rameswaram, Jul 5 (UNI) President A P J Abdul Kalam's nephew Shahul Hammeed died following a cardiac arrest yesterday.
According to his family sources, he was 65.
Mr Hammeed, son of Mr Kalam's elder brother Mohammed Muthu Meeran Lebbai, was living in Bangalore after his retirement from service.
He was going for a walk in the garden city, when he suffered a heart attack and died, sources said.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi has condoled the demise of Mr Hammeed.
In a message to the President, he said, ''I am deeply grieved by the tragic news. I express my condolences to you and to your brother's family''.
