Don't politicise Venugopal's sacking: Cong

New Delhi, July 5: The Congress today said the sacking of AIIMS Director Venugopal was a matter between the Ministry of Health and the Institute run by the Union government and therefore, it should not be politicised.

"No political party should get involved in the conrovesy as it is not fair to politicise each and every issue," Congess Spokesman Rajev Shukla said.

He told reporters here that both the Diector and the Minister have been functioning together. The action taken against Mr Venugopal was within the domain of the Government, he asserted.
