Balraj Sahani award to Prem Chopra and Ashwani Dheer

Shimla, JulY 5 (UNI) Renowned Bollywood villain Prem Chopra and television director and script writer Ashwani Dheer have been selected for this year's Balraj Sahani Award.

All India Artists' Association President Sudershan Gour said Mr Chopra and Mr Dheer have been selected this year for their outstanding contribution in cinema and television.

Mr Gour said more than 10 personalities from different walks of life would also be honoured for their contribution in their respective fields during a function, which was being organized at Surat in Gujarat in December later this year.

The Association has already honoured famous writers Khuswant Singh, Arun Shourie, Kuldeep Nayyar besides other important personalities, he added.
