AWAAZ channel, to award most preferred brands
New Delhi, Jul 5 (UNI) AWAAZ, a TV channel today announced the completion of 'AWAAZ Consumer Vote 2006' to identify the most preferred brands in the country, the awards for which will be announced on July 18, 2006.
''The Indian market is becoming a buyer's market where a multitude of brands give the customer the power to choose,'' TV-18 Media Networks CEO B Saikumar said.
The study was conducted over a span of one year by AC Nielsen ORG MARG spanning 40 service and product categories across the country in 21 locations, with about 10,000 people participating in the survey.
Adults in the age group of 18-60 years belonging to socio-economic class A, B and C households in different parts of the country were taken into consideration in th survey.
''We are confident that in its second year, this study will only be more relevant and more insightful to the consumer and the manufacturer,'' Mr Saikumar said.
Keeping in mind the current Indian scenario, AWAAZ has taken the onus to arrive at a list of the ''Most preferred Brands'' for each of the product categories covered in the study.
