'Ashtadhatu' idol estimated at Rs one crore seized, 2 arrested

Siddharthnagar, July 5 (UNI) An 'ashtadhatu' idol worth Rs one crore in the international market has been recovered with the arrest of two smugglers from Khalilabad town in Sant Kabirnagar district of Uttar Pradesh.

Police today said Shatish Chandra and Ramchet were nabbed yesterday, when they were planning to smuggle the idol to Faizabad district.
