Allahabad Uttaranchal HCs Get 3 Additional Judges

New Delhi, July 5 (UNI) The appointment of three Additional Judges of High Courts-- two in Allahabad and one in Uttaranchal-- by President A P J Abdul Kalam was announced today.

Ran Vijai Singh and Pankaj Mithal have been appointed Additional Judges of Allahabad High Court in that order of seniority, an announcement said.

Each will have a two year tenure with effect from the day they assume charge of their respective office, the announcement said.

Brahma Singh Verma has been appointed Additional Judge of Uttaranchal High Court with effect from July 15, another announcement said.

He, too, will have a two year tenure, it said.
