ACC's ready mixed concrete plant now ISO 14001

New Delhi, July 5 (UNI) ACC cement's ready mixed concrete (RMC) Faridabad plant today received ISO 14001 certification.

This is India's first commercial RMC unit to get ISO 14001 certification and the only one in India having both ISO 9001&14001, according to a statement released here.

The certification is given by the ISO certification agency Benchmark (counter part of JAS ANZ-Australia in India) for implementing the Management System complying with a standards of ISO 14001 conducting manufacturing and supply operations in a Pollution Free Environment.

Explaining the benefits of RMC Business Manager Danish Rashid informed that a bridge can be completed in 11 months without any major traffic disruption and without causing pollution&complying with all the stringent norms.
