Yahoo unveils preview of its flagship destination

Bangalore, July 3: YahooIndia today unveiled a preview of the new look for its flagship destination, yahoo.co.in, marking the most significant re-design to the Yahoo! India home page.

Putting consumers at the centre of their web experience, the new yahoo.co.in page allowed them get things done quickly and stay up-to-date on the latest news, trends and buzz about the happenings in India and the rest of the world, Yahoo said in a releae here.

''By using innovative technology, we were able to redefine what a home page could and should be. With an increased focus on search, content and community, we have built a consumer-friendly home page that adds value and excitement for our users and advertisers,'' Yahoo India Managing Director George Zacharias said.
