Swami Ramdev to take yoga to UK

Hardwar, July 3: After making yoga a household name in the country, yoga guru Swami Ramdev is all set to take yoga and ayurveda to foreign countries.

As part of the mission to make people lead a disease-free life, Swamiji will give tips about yoga and ayurveda to the NRIs and citizens of the United Kingdom from July 15 to August 19, said Acharya Bal Krishna, general secretary of Patnjali Yoga Peeth here.

Swamiji would organize his first camp at Elmbridge Club, Ilford from July 15 to July 22, second camp at City Football Club, Leicester from July 29 to August 4, the third camp at the Bolton Indian Sports Club, Manchester from August 5 to August 11 and the fourth camp at the Zoom Leisure, Harrow, Middlesex from August 13 to August 19, he said.

Swamiji would meet Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles, and interact with 100 leading industrialists and politicians of the country, the Acharya added.

A centre of the Patanjali Yoga Peeth will also be set up in London, he said and added that the attitude of the British government was highly encouraging.
