Sadbhavana motor cycle expedition to be flagged off tomorrow

Gangtok, July 3 (UNI) The Sadbhavana Motor Cycle Expedition will be flagged off tomorrow from Gangtok to commemorate the silver jubilee of 307 Medium Regiment ''The Abenezzers''.

The main objective of the expedition is to inculcate a spirit of adventure, spread the message of goodwill, create awareness and motivate the young generation to join the Indian Armed Forces through lectures, counselling and conducting welfare activities like extending medical assistance during the expedition.

Army sources said the expedition comprising 16 motor cyclists riding over eight motor cycles will culminate at Sukhna on July 15 after covering about 2000 kms, spread across three states--Sikkim, Assam and West Bengal.

Organised by the Black Cat Division of the Army, General Officer Commanding Black Cat Division Maj General K T Parnaik is scheduled to flag off the expedition.
