Rupee opens seven paise up at 45.97/98/USD

Mumbai, Jul 3: Indian currency today opened up by seven paise at Rs 46.97/98/US Dollar compared to the previous close of Rs 46.04/US Dollar, said a trader in the money market.

Currently, rupee is trading at the same level.

The sensex too opened in the green by seven points and is currently trading at 10,641 points, which is 32 points up from the previous close of 10,609 points.
