NSCN(K) to continue ties with NE Ultras

Kohima, July 3 (UNI) The NSCN(K) has warned the Centre of continuing ties with other North East ultras, if the Government fails to brand the NSCN-IM as a 'terrorist outfit'.

During a meeting of the ceasefire supervisory board here today, NSCN(K) Finance Kilonser Kughelu Mulstonu informed the Central Government representatives about the NSCN-IM links with several terrorist organisations.

The meeting also discussed the notices of Superintendent of Police of various districts asking the armed cadres to vacate the populated areas.

Nagaland Commissioner T N Mennon clarified that the order was issued for the safety of life and property of the civilians.

It was decided in the meeting to frequently review the proper implementation of the ceasefire ground rules.
