Mandor, Umaid gardens to be beautified for Rs 20 crore
Jodhpur, July 3 (UNI) Rajasthan's Public Works Department has been provided Rs 20 crore for the beautification and improvement of the historical Mandor and Umaid gardens here.
District Collector Naresh Pal Ganagwar said the development of Mandor would be carried out by the Urban Improvement Trust (UIT) and a Rs 1.5 crore plan has beeen prepared by the body, an order has been issued to form registered society for the maintenance of the gardens.
These garden, which are major tourist attractions of the city, are being spruced up to attract more tourists.
