K'taka Govt to hold meeting to revive Bagalkot cement factory

Bangalore, July 3 (UNI) The Karnataka Government will hold a meeting of the management, officials and employees of the Bagalkot Cement factory to revive the sick unit soon, Labour Minister Iqbal Ansari informed the State Council today.

Replying to a query raised by Mr M P Nadagouda (JD-U), he said the conciliation proceedings were on to restart production so as to provide employment to the workers. Wages for the workers have been paid up to May this year, he added.
