ICICI to acquire 19 pc stake in NIIT Ltd

New Delhi, July 3: NIIT Ltd today said ICICI Bank Ltd has agreed to acquire 19 per cent stake in NIIT Institute of Finance Banking and Insurance Training Ltd for Rs 0.95 crore.

NIIT Institute of Finance Banking and Insurance Training is a newly incorporated entity formed for rendering training in the areas of finance, banking and insurance.

The company also announced that it is getting into technology based learning services, by establishing centers for advanced learning in the area of technology and management.

It would also engage in proficiency assessment and recruitment testing services, a company statement said.
