GRP investigating Navasari railway station attack

Surat, July 3 (UNI) Officials of Government Railway Poice (GRP) are investigating the incident in which a mob attacked Navasari police station master's office and set the furniture ablaze.

GRP officials have collected CD in which the entire incident is recorded and hope that they can identify the accused.

Two persons Narendra Kumar Pawar and Lalith Rathod -- have been arrested in connection with ransacking and the police got them under remand for two days, sources said.

Police also found that a reciept book was stolen from the station office.
