Dr Reddy's launches 'Alfoo'

Hyderabad, Jul 3 (UNI) Pharma Major Dr Reddy has introduced Alfuzosin Hydrochloride, indicated for treatment of signs and symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).

Launched nationwide under the brand 'Alfoo,' the drug will further help Dr Reddy's consolidate its position in the urology segment where the company already has strong brands at present.

'Alfoo' is available in extended release tablets of 10 mg dosage.

Alfuzosin ER scores over other alpha-blockers by way of providing rapid relief from signs and symptoms of BPH to offer a better quality of life, the company claimed in a statement here today.
