Depression in Bay of Bengal causes rain in Kolkata
Kolkata,Jul 3 (UNI) Intermitted showers since yesterday has given the much needed respite to the Kolkatans.
Today also the city experienced few spells in the morning with dark clouds hovering the sky.
MET officials said the rainfall was the effect of the deep depression over the north west of Bay of Bengal.
There was a drastic fall in the temperature. The maximum temperature recorded was 32.3 degree Celsius and a minimum of 26 degree Celsius, where as the relative humidity was around 90 per cent.
Met office has forecast heavy rainfall in the next few hours accompanied with thunder and lightning.
