Adarsh Vidyalaya in each district of Bihar : Nitish
Patna, July 3 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today announced that one 'Adarsh High School' would be established in each district of the state.
Inaugurating a seminar on ''Secondary Education Vision 2010'' organised by Secondary Education Association, Mr Kumar said ''Adarsh High School'' would have co-education facility.
He said separate hostels would be constructed for boy and girl students, adding that competitive examinations would be conducted for admission to these high schools.
''Adarsh High Schools'', would provide education upto plus two level, to help rural talent 'flourish', he said.
The government was making sincere efforts to improve the teacher-student ratio, which was 1 to 40 at the national level, he said.
He said process was on for appointing 2.34 lakh primary teachers and 22,000 secondary level teachers.
