Yechury meets Koirala

Kathmandu, July 2 (UNI) CPI(M) Polit Bureau member Sitaram Yechury met Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala at his residence in Baluwatar today.

Indian ambassador to Nepal Shiv Shankar Mukherjee was also present during the meeting, where the present political. situation in Nepal and bilateral-ties were discussed.

Mr Yechury, who is on a visit to Nepal at the invitation of Mr Koirala, expressed full support of India for democracy and prosperity of Nepal.
