Undertrial dies in police lock-up

Thane, July 2 (UNI) An undertrial allegedly died of a severe cardiac arrest at the Wada police lock-up here.

According to police, Shravan U Wagh, the 45-year-old tribal from Mandva, was arrested on June 27 for an alleged offence under section 324 of the IPC.

However, the same day he died of a cardiac stroke.

A case has been registered in the matter, police added.
