Two cholera cases reported in Surat
Surat, July 2 (UNI) Two cases of cholera have been reported in the city recently.
According to reports, two children - Sushil Upadhyay (7) and Sandeep Upadhyay (9), living in slum areas of Pandesara here, have tested positive for cholera. Both are undergoing treatment at the New Civil Hospital here.
Hospital's medical superintendent Dr M K Wadel claimed water contamination as the cause of the ailment.
Meanwhile, Surat Municipal Corporation has undertaken health check-ups in the slum areas of the city after these cholera cases.
