TDP leaders held at SEC office

Hyderabad, Jul 2 (UNI) TDP leaders including MP Alladi Raj Kumar, MLA G Sainna and Telugu Yuvath chief T Srinivas Yadav were detained when they tried to barge into the State Election Commissioner's (SEC) office at Buddha Bhavan in Secunderabad here, protesting against alleged irregularities in the second phase of polling.

A large gathering led by Mr Raj Kumar trooped into SEC's office and raised slogans against the Congress and the Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

The police arrested the protesters when they defied orders to vacate the place.
