Police arrest 18 people in PMT paper leak case

New Delhi, Jul 2 (UNI) Punjab and Delhi police have arrested 18 people, including students, their parents and tutors, in connection with the Punjab Pre Medical Test paper leak from West Delhi.

Police said the accused were caught red handed with the exam paper from a residential complex in Sector 13 of Rohini last evening.

The Baba Faridkot University, which conducts the Pre Medical Test, has been notified by the police about the leak.

However, the examination was not cancelled and was conducted across 41 centres in the state as per schedule with an alternative set of question paper.

The students had come to the house here to prepare for the examination and were to leave for Punjab to write the paper.

Punjab Police had been tracking the case for the past three days.
