One killed in minor dispute

Farrukabad, July 2 (UNI) One person was killed and at least seven others injured when two groups clashed over a minor dispute in Shamshabad area here last night, police today said.

The dispute related to fetching water from a community handpump in Ghatiapur village last evening led to a full-fledged clash.

The rival groups attaked each other with 'lathis' and daggers, in which one Aqeel died on the spot.

The seven injured had been admitted to hospital.

A case had been registered and investigations are on.
