Nitish to launch membership drive on July 4

Patna, July 2 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will launch his party's membership drive here on July 4.

State general secretary of the party Ravindra Singh said here today that senior JD(U) leader Nitish Kumar would launch membership drive for 2006-08 at the party office in presence of state unit president Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lallan Singh and principal general secretary Upendra Kushwaha.

Mr Singh said similar drives would be launched by the district presidents at district level. Party MPs and MLAs had been asked to be present and actively participate in the membership drive, he added.
