MIM resort to rasta roko alleging Congress rigging in polls

Ranga Reddy, Andhra Pradesh, July 2 (UNI) Activists belonging to Majlis Ittehedul Muslimeen (MIM), led by its party MLA Qadri, today staged a 'rasta roko' in Srisailam Road, accusing the Congress of rigging in Shaheenagar and Wadihuda Areas.

Police said Mr Qadri and his party activists raised slogans against the Congress and its alleged undemocratic practices during local polls in this district.

The activists sat on the Srisailam road and interrupted the traffic flow.

Traffic came to a standstill for one hour, but was cleared soon, the police added.
