Mauresmo storms into last 16

LONDON, July 1 (Reuters) Top seed Amelie Mauresmo stormed through to the Wimbledon fourth round with a confident 6-1 6-2 victory over Australian Nicole Pratt today.

The Frenchwoman, a semi-finalist on each of her last three visits to the All England Club, brushed aside 33-year-old Pratt with some expert grasscourt tennis.

Mauresmo sealed a 59-minute victory on court one with an ace and has only lost nine games in her first three matches.

She plays Serbia's Ana Ivanovic in the last 16.
