Heavy rains bring down temperature in the city

Kolkata, July 2 (UNI) The city today breathed a sigh of relief following heavy rains for few hours during the day after several weeks' of hot and humid weather.

The sky was cloudy since the morning with few spells of showers in the afternoon, which brought down the temperature.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 33 degree Celsius and the minimum was 26 degree Celsius.

The relative humidity was high at 90 per cent.

The Met office have forecast a heavy rainfal in the next few hours.
