Congress activist killed in a fight

Mahbubnagar, Andhra Pradesh, July 2 (UNI) One Congress activist was allegedly killed and two others injured when activists belonging to Telugu Desam Party (TDP) attacked them over a row on distribution of money to woo voters near Chintalakunta village in this district last night.

Police said a group of Congress activists questioned the TDP activists regarding the money distribution to the voters.

In a fit of anger, some TDP activists attacked the Congress activists with knives. In the fight one Congress activist K Anjaneyulu was killed and two others were injured.

The injured were admitted at Gadwel government Hospital for treatment.

Gadwal MLA D Aruna visited the hospital to see the injured activists.

Condemning the attack, she said the TDP had unleashed a new wave of terror in the region, which was not present in the past.
