Century Group launches flexi-accommodation for young pros

Bangalore, July 2 (UNI) Century Group, engaged in real estate development, housing and construction, today launched Century Nester, a unique concept of flexi-accommodation for working professionals.

Madhu Bangarappa and Guru Kiran, youth icons from the Kannada film Industry, inaugurated Century Nester in the presence of company Chairman P Dayananda Pai.

Century Nester, located at Hulimavu off Bannerghatta Road, had 110 beds with an option of fully furnished single, double and premium studio rooms with attached toilets. The facilities and services include a cafeteria, gymnasium, laundromat, business centre, 24-hour power back-up, round the clock security and flexible meal plans. The entire complex is Wi-Fi enabled keeping in tune with the requirements of young working professionals.

The project sought to provide a perfect solution to the firms' difficulty in finding a balance between quality and cost while finding accommodation for their new employees and the individuals' problem of lack of quality accommodation options.

Mr Pai told newspersons here that ''Century Nester, a pioneering initiative from Century Group, represents the next big trend in young executive accommodation. It's neither a paying guest facility, nor a service apartment nor a hotel. Neither, is it a guest house nor a dormitory. It's quite simply what a fun-loving, upwardly mobile young professional wants. This will also become a forum for the youngsters to network with their peer group. Individuals will no longer have to put up with crammy paying guest facilities or be worried about excessive costs of furnishing their apartments.'' He said the company proposed to open eight such facilities by June 2007 in various parts of Bangalore. Locations have already been finalised and work had commenced on most sites, he added.
